The Book of Common Prayer states "the mission of the Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ" and the "Church carries out its mission through the ministry of all its members." For most of us, our ministry is a stewardship commitment where we return a portion of our time, talent, and income for the work of the Church in thanksgiving.

Financial stewardship is one the ways in which members of the church enable the work of Christian Ministry.

Resources about Stewardship:

The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS): TENS is a voluntary network of dedicated stewardship ministers serving congregations and dioceses. This site has sermons, proceedings of conferences, and a bibliography of resources for stewardship formation, as well as links to additional resources.
The Episcopal Church Foundation: Resources and support for legacy gift programs and other planned giving programs for congregations and the full range of ministry programs in the Episcopal Church.
Christian Leadership Alliance: "The Christian Leadership Alliance community has put its years of experience in the “business” of ministry to work for its members."
