Kroger community rewards program 		Home



Shop at Krogers (any), Help the Church: "Community Rewards program" -- If you shop at Krogers, you can help the Church of the Good Shepherd. At your request Kroger's donates about 1% of what you spend using the Kroger's Plus Card to the non-profit of your choice. Please register today, it will cost you nothing. Many of you are doing this already and this quite helpful and many thanks to everyone who has participated. Before the Church sees any benefit you need to enroll (register your shopper's card) in the Community Rewards program.


If you have previously enrolled in theory you stay enrolled until you cancel. However if the church is not listed on the botton of your receipt, or you want to check your enrollment details use this link to log onto your account -- https://www.kroger.com/account/communityrewards/. (Copy this link and paste into your browser if does not work.)
  1. You will need your email address and password to log into your account as you normally do. Log on.

  2. Update or confirm your information as needed. You may need the following: Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, the Church number is WR677.

  3. When finished it is not a bad idea to sign out.


If you have not previously enrolled at all, you will need to have a shopper's card (Kroger Plus Card) and a working email address.   (If you do not have a card, you need to get one at the store.   Then use this link. https://www.kroger.com/account/communityrewards/. (Copy this link and paste into your browser if does not work.)

When this page arrives, if you already have a Kroger account, sign in and follow steps described above. If you do not have an account click "Create an Account".   You will be asked for some information and preferences. You will need your Kroger Plus Card number and a working email account and a phone number.

The basic scenario is as follows:
  1. You will be asked for your email address and to create a password. The Athens store will be listed, but can change if you use another Kroger store. Then agree to terms and conditons.

  2. Once you register your email address, you will receive a message in your email inbox (usually in a minute or two).   Follow the link within the body of this email.

  3. Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.

  4. Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and input your Kroger Plus card number.

  5. Update or confirm your information.

  6. Enter name of organization (Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, the Church number is WR677) or select from list and click on confirm. You are done!

  7. When finished it is not a bad idea to sign out.


Many prefer to use their phone number at the register which is OK. Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping for each purchase to count. Joining Community Rewards does not detract any from gas or grocerly advantages of havng a Kroger Card.

(The next time you shop at Krogers check the bottom of your receipt to see if the church is listed.)
